Here at Prom Palace we aim to stock a range of beautiful Prom dresses so you can find the dress of your dreams. Before we explain the buying process we want to assure you:

• That ALL our items are genuine high quality designer items; we DO NOT sell fake copies.
• There are no hidden extras; the price you see online is the price you pay for your dress including delivery within the UK.

Choosing your Perfect Prom Dress?

• Take some time to browse all the items on our website, don?t forget the sale section!
• Choose a colour and style you like and then you can click the colour sorter to see the dresses available with that colour as an option.
• Make a short list of styles you are interested in and then talk to your Mum, Dad or whoever is paying for the dress.
• Once you have a small list of styles you like there are 2 ways to make that all important purchase with Prom Palace.

Buying your Prom Dress in Store?

• Prom Nights are held every Thursday from 3pm until 7pm.
• Come along to our shop Glamourous Gowns at 104a Peabody Road, North Camp, Farnborough GU14 6DY ? no appointments needed on the thursday prom night.
• Choose from our rails of dresses, try several styles on and pick your prom dress; new styles arriving in store all the time.
• If we have the style and colour you want in your size you just pay for it and take it away with you.
• If we need to order the dress in then you pay a deposit and we will give you an estimated date of arrival; once the dress has arrived we contact you so you can come in, pay the balance and take the dress away.

Buying your Prom Dress Online?

• If you are buying a dress in a style, size and colour we hold in stock; just add it to the cart, make payment and you will receive your dress within a week.
• If the style, size and colour you want is not in stock; just add it to the cart, make payment and you will receive a confirmation along with details of the expected delivery date through the post.
• If the style you purchase is no longer available, either because someone else from your prom has purchased it or because the designer has sold out; we will let you know as soon as possible so you can change your order or receive a full refund.

Choosing the Best Size to Order?

• It is VERY important you measure yourself and refer to our size chart or the measurements given for the particular item you are buying.
• Measure yourself in your underwear; round the fullest part of your bust, your waist above your tummy button and your hips going around the fullest part of your bottom.
• When you look at the measurements for the dress they are likely to cover several sizes; order the largest of the sizes. For Example bust size 6, waist size 10 and hips size 8 you need to order the size 10.
• However, if the dress has a lace fastening you can order a dress with a waist between 1 and 2 inches smaller than your waist.
• REMEMBER it is normal for any dress to need altering by a seamstress for a perfect fit and many dresses will need taking up so you can walk and dance without standing on the hem!

How can I be sure know no one else will be wearing the same style as ME?

The short answer is you cannot be sure. The same dress style is available from multiple different prom shops, both online and instore. Unless you buy an exclusive designer dress there will always be the possibility. However, at Prom Palace we do ensure that WE won't sell the same prom dress to two girls attending the same prom.

• We ask all our customers to tell us which school they attend.
• We keep a note of which dresses have been sold to anyone from each school, and check each order against this list.
• If we discover you have ordered a style that is the same as someone else attending your prom we will let you know that you need to choose a different style.
• We promise not to sell the same dress to someone attending your prom; REMEMBER this means the earlier you make your choice and place your order the better as this stops anyone else choosing that style.

Why should I order my Prom Dress early?

• The sooner you order the more likely you are to get the style you like best; once anyone attending your prom has chosen a style we will not sell it to you.
• All the designers only make a certain number of any style and colour so if you leave ordering until late, after February with many of them, they may no longer have stock.
• Delivery can take up to 12 weeks so if you leave ordering until close to your prom date there may not be time for the dress to arrive.
• Once the dress arrives you will need to choose shoes, jewellery and maybe a tiara to complete the look; also most dresses will need to be taken to a seamstress for a perfect fit so you need to allow time for this.
• Finally, this is a VERY important exam year for you and you don?t want to be worrying about your prom dress when you should be studying!
